Let’s Review It

I'm in need of 10k, please help 😖 Your Latest Marketing Chat + Social Updates

Spotted: a familiar name popping back up in your inbox.
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. It’s me.

Life’s been throwing punches and I’ve been catching every single one gracefully, of course.

No it’s not “I’m back and better” 'cause that’s played out.

But what I will say is this: it’s time to lock TF in.
New ideas. New concepts. Fresh perspective.
CLASS. IS. IN. SESSION.

And marketing? Word on the street is that it’s had a glow-up and I’ve got the receipts.

So let’s get into the smoke.

Social News 🗞️

Featured Campaign: Ciara’s UK Creator Tour

Ciara didn’t just visit the UK - she activated.
No exclusive press dinners or traditional media-only moments here. Instead, she tapped into the real culture: creators.

From TikToks with Tube Girl to sets with DJ AG, Ciara’s team knows the power of cultural currency.

→ ‘Black Women in Excellence’ dinner in Mayfair, packed with creator girlies
→ Interviews with Mimi The Music Blogger + Madam Joyce
→ Organic link-ups that actually felt authentic

This is where we’re at now.

Celebs aren’t gatekeeping anymore; they’re collaborating with the people who already own their audience trust.

10/10 execution.

Honorable Mentions:

  • Final Destination’s OOH Madness: Final Destination is back and their Paris stunt? Sick (in the best way).
They rigged a giant billboard to “fall” in a shopping centre.
    Dramatic. On-brand. Noticeable.
OOH when it’s done right, really hits.

  • Tinder’s Emotional Baggage Truck: A bright pink bin lorry cruising around Mumbai. Not weird, just Tinder being Tinder.
The ‘EX-press’ collected people’s emotional baggage (yes - literal hoodies, notes and teddy bears). It’s marketing that makes you feel.

  • Aldi’s Ice Bath at a Bus Stop: A guy casually taking an ice bath on the streets of London? Yup, on brand for Aldi. Promoting their £29.99 inflatable bath drop.

Aldi understood the assignment: viral, culturally relevant and rooted in their brand DNA. “Like Brands. Only Cheaper.” Still undefeated.

Creative Concepts💡

Brands like Decathlon are leaving money on the table 🫠

Calisthenics is everywhere on socials. But where’s the reactive marketing?

Here’s the play:

→ Outdoor calisthenics playgrounds
→ Footfall to store, traffic to site
→ Sell the gear through the experience
→ Tap into culture like Pilates did

It’s aspirational. It’s accessible. It sticks.

And after Central Cee jumped on the bars?
The partnership potential is screaming.

This is how you turn viral moments into brand assets.

Am I onto something? 👀

📚 Upskill Opportunity: Introduction to Social Media Marketing

#KeepingupwithSteph

"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

I used to think I had to have it all figured out.

I needed a dream job, a 5-year plan and financial freedom.

Spoiler: I had none of it.

When I pivoted from Law to Marketing, I felt lost.
Everyone else seemed certain.

I was just… figuring it out online. So I turned LinkedIn into my digital journal.

Trying to find clarity in chaos.

Sharing what I was learning.
Documenting the transition.
And somewhere in between the imposter syndrome and career pivots - I built a community.

Not of “followers.”
But real people.

Reminded me I’m not alone. That laughed with me. Pushed me.
That’s why I’m starting #offbrandonly.
A space for the in-between.
For the “figuring it out.”
For the people building careers and confidence.

This isn’t just about jobs.
It’s about feeling seen.
Finding your voice.
And building something that feels true even if it’s off-brand.

We’re not meant to do this alone.
So let’s not.

#offbrandonly kicks off with our first 10k community
